Job Description:
This position manages technical resources and associates within
the Information Technology (IT) department of the Bank,
specifically the Asset Management End-of-Life (EOL) Program.
Manages an associate team to ensure effective delivery of service
and project results. Oversees the design, implementation, and
support of systems and processes to appropriately manage
end-of-life, including governance of remediation plans and
proactive engagement with asset owners. Partners with peers, senior
management, business units, and associate teams to align projects
or tasks with wider organizational goals. This position is
responsible for management of highly complex aspects of Asset
End-of-Life tracking, analysis, and reporting. Develops, maintains,
and improves upon asset management governance, standards,
procedures, plans, controls, and operating metrics to achieve
operational objectives, as it relates to end-of-life. Evaluates
current practices, collects information and industry trends, and
creates specifications to support business initiatives. Develops
and implements process improvements and provides a leadership role
for the work group through knowledge of IT asset management.
Responsibilities • Project and Product Management - Provides
direction and oversight to IT projects and products. Assigns
project tasks, drives project schedules, product releases, and
conveys results or updates to the appropriate parties. Develops and
utilizes methods of tracking performance. • Managerial Functions -
Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and
department goals. Makes appropriate changes to IT policies,
standards, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet
objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of
assigned staff. Maximizes department achievements by providing
professional development. Ensures bank needs are met through
prioritization and resource allocation. Supports budget
forecasting, capital planning and invoicing. • Business Support -
Directs programming, business analysis, or testing activities,
including the determination of scope, time and cost estimates, and
system impact within user requests. Facilitates system
modifications within existing system architecture and assists with
architectural changes as necessary. Elicits and refines business
technology roadmaps, including setting priority and understanding
cross team impacts. • Technical Expertise - Serves as a technical
expert and strategic leader to senior management, associates, and
business units. Ensures that team activities comply with all
appropriate configuration, change controls, and security standards.
Participates in business meetings and special projects to provide
insight on end-user needs. Keeps abreast of industry trends.
Identifies and holds accountable vendors in support of system
updates and maintenance. • Operational Support - Provides expert
support for business operations by responding to inquiries,
identifying issues, and working to continuously improve business
practices. Handles escalated matters that arise during daily
operations and providing guidance to IT asset management analysts.
• Identifying Business Objectives - Develops strategies to achieve
company and department goals, and communicates these through the
use of specifications, project plans, or other forms of
documentation. • Reporting - Produces reports based on data
analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities. Conveys
patterns, problems, and areas of improvement. Develops process
enhancements based on reporting. • Data Analysis - Sources,
compiles, and interprets data. Performs data analysis on an
advanced level, effectively communicating and directing analysis
output. • Manages key relationships within the enterprise. This
includes asset owners, operations, procurement, risk, and audit. •
Mentoring and educating team members and stakeholders on ITAM
End-of-Life processes and practices Qualifications • Bachelors
Degree and 6 years of experience in Applications development,
applications analysis or systems engineering OR High School Diploma
or GED and 10 years of experience in Applications development,
applications analysis or systems engineering • Skill(s): Previous
leadership for technical implementation, Knowledge of Standard
Development Life Cycles (like Waterfall or Agile), Knowledge of
system and data design o Previous leadership for technical
implementation, Knowledge of Standard Development Life Cycles (like
Waterfall or Agile), Knowledge of system and data design o
Experience with ServiceNow CMDB Utah o Experience with creating
Dashboards and reporting in ServiceNow. o Excellent verbal and
written communication skills; troubleshooting & analytical skills;
and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams o Experience
working in an Agile environment o Ability to independently set
priorities and meet deadlines in a fast- paced environment o
Ability to independently work efforts and report on status o
Ability to manage team, coordinating work activities and developing
team capabilities o Proven organizational and time-management
skills, including prioritizing multiple tasks o Strong analytical
skills showing attention to detail with a strong customer focus o
Excellent developing and delivering presentation skills
