Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year of adult respiratory care experience required. License: NC state license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required. Must-Have: Adult and pediatric respiratory care experience. Critical care experience for both adults and pediatrics. ED and adult ICU experience required. Description: Candidates must be aware that they are being submitted for this position. Candidates should review the job description thoroughly. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling. Candidates should understand that there is a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. No barriers should prevent candidates from completing compliance requirements on time. Candidates must be aware of the Pass/Fail EKG exam required for this role. Experience with airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, bronchoscopes, nebulizers, BiPAP, and CPAP is necessary. Candidates should have experience in pediatric general care, with PICU experience preferred. Experience with Servo I ventilators is preferred. All candidates must be prepared for potential floating to any campus if needed. Study material for the EKG exam is not provided, so candidates should plan accordingly. All candidates must ensure they do not have any open cases on their background check. Education verification through a third party is required. All qualifications must be ready prior to submission.
