Work Week – 48 Hours Time: 7 P to 7 am Weekend Requirement: Every
other weekend Ratio: 1:2–3 Job Overview: Cape Fear Valley Medical
Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Travel Nurse to
join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses
who thrive in high-acuity environments and are committed to
delivering exceptional patient care. Evaluate and monitor the
patient’s progress. Identify sudden or subtle changes in a
patient’s medical condition. Deliver regular updates to doctors,
patients, and their family members. Begin treatment and monitor
doses. If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the
appropriate doctors. Care for patient needs throughout their
recovery in the ICU unit. Complete all necessary paperwork before
transferring a patient. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2 years
of ICU experience required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (all
required) License: Active RN license required (No pending licenses
accepted) First-Time Travelers: Preferred No – Manager may consider
based on experience Float Requirement: Yes – must float within
scope and to like units as needed On-call Requirement: No RTO
(Requested Time Off): Subject to manager's discretion Block
Scheduling: Open to consideration Local Candidates: Not accepted
(must reside outside 50-mile radius) Additional Details: Policy:
After 2 shift cancellations in a 13-week period, all contracted
hours are guaranteed Return Staff Policy: Must be gone for 1 year
before returning as a traveler System Contract Limit: Max of 2
contracts – must take a 6-month break before returning Facility
