culture Job Details Position Overview: The Director of Sales – East
Coast Territory will serve as the strategic and operational lead
for our sales organization across a large territory (all of the
east coast). This is a high-impact, remote leadership role that
requires extensive travel to build and maintain key customer
relationships, manage and develop a high-performing sales team, and
drive the execution of regional business goals. Travel will be 50%
Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership & Team Development Lead,
coach, and mentor a team of territory sales representatives across
New York. Develop and implement sales strategies that align with
national objectives while addressing local market dynamics. Foster
a culture of accountability, performance, and professional growth.
Customer Relationship Management Build and sustain strong
relationships with retail and wholesale partners. Serve as a
trusted advisor to customers, ensuring exceptional service and
satisfaction. Regularly travel to meet clients in the field,
resolve issues, and identify opportunities. Territory & Business
Operations Own the P&L for the New York territory, including
managing budgets, pricing, and margins. Deliver accurate sales
forecasting and reporting to executive leadership. Identify and
capitalize on market trends, competitive activities, and regional
growth opportunities. Brand Advocacy & Market Presence Represent
the brand at trade shows, promotional events, and industry
functions. Drive brand visibility and strengthen our presence in
key retail and wholesale channels. Collaborate with marketing and
product teams to ensure brand consistency in the market.
Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years in sales leadership, ideally
within the tobacco, CPG, or regulated goods industries. Proven
experience managing territory-level P&L, budgeting, and
forecasting. Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to
75%) Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal
skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to field
sales. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field;
