SUMMARYThis role is fundamentally focused on the operational
mechanics of inventorying, measuring, and reporting progress toward
public targets and required disclosures in the environmental,
social and governance (ESG) space. Successful candidates should
have a working knowledge of GHG Protocol, with experience
administering a GHG inventory (and associated other items) combined
with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking financial
performance of a wide array of global initiatives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES+ Responsible for coordination with internal
stakeholders to develop, implement and manage ongoing globally
standardized environmental sustainability dataset showing progress
towards clients internal & external sustainability objectives,
financial compliance and more. Provides client with one global view
of all sustainability data.+ Assist in the annual disclosure
process, including timely and accurate initial preparation of
monthly, quarterly, and annual GHG inventory, catalogues supporting
data for audit, and solicits commentary as necessary.+ Review with
decarbonization program manager, or stakeholders as appropriate to
validate normalized savings, carbon reductions, develop exception
reports for senior management, explanation of potential variances
and year-over-year trends+ Assist in the development,
implementation and subsequent monitoring of systems and processes
to ensure data accuracy.+ Reviews regional data for accuracy,
leverage exception reporting process and identify data points which
require additional investigation or proof of efficacy.+ Coordinate
with regional operations teams to obtain validation or make
corrections as necessary.+ Coordinate with other services providers
to notify of data quality issues provides support and assists with
resolution as appropriate.+ Leverage appropriate digital reporting
platform (to catalogue data) and review source documentation (e.g.
utility bills).+ As requested, compare collected data (financial,
environmental, other) against industry benchmarks and prepare
reports of findings.+ Lead the analysis of various informational
outputs from partner systems, internal program components and
system tools. Consumption Reporting+ Coordinate energy and
sustainability initiatives, monitor compliance, analyze, and
communicate externally facing reporting.+ Review consumption data
and validate energy, cost, or carbon savings resulting from
operational programs which curtail energy consumption.+ Monitor and
track, carbon, water use and waste diversion rates, spending
trends+ Support the CBRE leadership with status reports as required
outlining progress against goals for carbon, water and waste.+
Ensure detailed investigation of significant variances are
undertaken to ensure root cause is well understood and
communicated.+ Configure and Manage Energy Star Portfolio Manager
(ESPM). Provide ongoing data assurance data is up to date and
accurate.+ Review non-telecom utility bills (i.e., electricity,
natural gas, oil, refrigerants, all other fuels, and municipal
water and sewer) for accuracy and verify that they follow
associated rates and tariffs. Responsible for ongoing collection
and analysis of monthly electricity, waste/recycling, water/sewer
and natural gas/oil usage data with commentary on actual usage
versus expected usage, coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to
explain meaningful variances. Financial Reporting+ Responsible for
monitoring and assisting in the preparation of annual budgets for
global energy consumption, carbon reduction, water conservation and
waste reduction projects and providing monthly budget forecasts to
appropriate client stakeholders.+ Leverage globally approved
budgeting methodology in coordination with leadership to create a
site level budget for water and waste projects within each region
and present for approval. Track savings (or cost increases) at the
budget level to calculate and report regularly on the ROI for water
and waste initiatives.+ Coordinate with CBRE field personnel to
obtain detailed variance explanations when required.+ Provide data
to support a global review of performance against budgets for all
carbon, water and waste projects, including detailed review of
relevant variance explanations. Communications+ Draft occupant
communications for periodic distribution that suggest ways business
units and employees can participate to contain energy consumption,
carbon emissions, waste, and water consumption. Process
Improvement+ Develop, recommend, and implement continuous
improvement strategies to improve data ingestion, quality,
timelessness, required data transformations and more such that
client environmental, consumption and financial data is comparable,
accurate and timely. Transformations would include, units, time
periods, carbon factors and more to provide a common basis of
analysis.+ Responsible for maintaining a digital integration
framework which facilitates the timely centralized collection of
global sustainability data from multiple collection methodologies
and source systems.+ Work and coordinate with CBRE platform to
enhance current service offeringSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESWill
coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or
project but is not responsible for formal supervision of
employees.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEKnowledge of the corporate
real estate outsourcing industry, knowledge of operational
sustainability including industry trends and major public ESG
initiatives.Data science, computer science experience preferred.A
successful applicant must have strong skills in the following
areas/categories: Advanced project management, Team management,
strong client-facing communications, experience in data modeling
and relational databases, Tableau expertise.EDUCATIONBachelors
degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in Economics,
Engineering, Sustainability or other related field and a minimum of
one year of related experience and/or training.CERTIFICATES and/or
LICENSESNone required, CEM preferred.COMMUNICATIONS SKILLSAbility
to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents.
Possess excellent writing skills for reports, manuals, speeches,
articles, and communications using distinctive styles and various
delivery methods. Ability to respond effectively to complex
inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor,
and/or management. Ability to make effective presentations on
complex topics to an internal department, large group of employees,
clients, and/or management. Ability to motivate and negotiate
effectively with client groups to take desired action.FINANCIAL

Energy / Sustainability Performance Analyst position is
$68,600annually and the maximum salary for the Energy /
Sustainability Performance Analyst position position is $114,300
annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful
candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and
experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a
discretionary bonus based on CBREs applicable benefit program.CBRE
