taking care of our planet. To support that challenge, our Finance
Team is currently seeking a Financial Analyst.The Financial Analyst
will support the Crop Protection (CP) and Syngenta Professional
Solutions (SP) Business with a focus on Marketing, Pricing,
Discount and Redemption activities, and Function Expenses.The
position holder will influence the business strategy and decision
making by providing detailed financial analysiAccountabilities Work
with stakeholders to manage function expenses, build expense
budgets, and provide analysis to enable educated decision making.
Provide financial support to Product Marketing, SPS, and Commercial
Units (CU's) to ensure pricing is properly maintained and
communicated including gross to net, discount allocation, and list
pricing. Partner with CU stakeholders in executing redemption
activities including payment of programs as well as participating
in program development when appropriate. Provide financial support
for business case development in season. Enable the business to
make in season pricing decisions by facilitating the exposure
review process, SIC liability estimates based on pricing proposals,
and detailed analysis regarding financial impacts of any pricing
proposals. Be involved, on an ad-hoc basis in projects managed or
led by Crop Protection, Marketing and SPS. Provide analysis to
ensure proper liability balances and accrual rates for marketing
programs through periodic reconciliations in season and annual
analysis for year-end activities.QualificationsRequirements
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business
Administration, Economics and/or related field of study 3 years
accounting/finance experience Experience in financial planning,
analysis, modelling and benchmarking Experience with standard
financial analysis tools, i.e., NPV, risk assessment, and value
creation Experience preparing company budgets All applicants must
