Description:Our client, Greensboro Auto Auction is the South's
leading independent, dealer exclusive auto auction. - Greensboro
Auto Auction, also known as GAA, is locally owned and operated. -
We are currently recruiting for experienced Body Shop Paint Prep
Technicians. This is a full time position with benifits. -Employees
may be required to work weekends as dictated by
workflow.Duties:Inspect quality of repairs received from Body
DepartmentLoad vehicles into spray boothFinal preparation for
painting to include: - -blocking; sanding; masking; filling chips;
and cleaning panels.Remove vehicles from spray boothPrepare
vehicles and parts -following the -Standard Operation
ProceduresMaintain clean and safe work areaParticipate in ongoing
technical and safety trainingEnsure safe movement of vehicle in,
out and through the departmentAdhere to paint production schedule
as designated by paint supervisor.Qualifications:Must have a
minimum of 2 years experience in a high volume shop or prior
schooling in related fieldKnowledge in cleaning of panels, sanding
and filling chips prior to paintingExperience in masking and taping
of vehiclesExperience in wet sanding and blocking proceduresGood
communication skills, positive attitude and be able to nurture a
