their electrical contractor. Watson Electrical has been an industry
leader for over 80 years in the electrical construction industry,
serving customers throughout the Carolinas and Virginia. Spanning
11 different locations, Watson Energy has created a service team to
provide advanced electrical solutions and services for major
corporations.General Summary: A Maintenance Sales Representative
reports to the Director of Solutions and is responsible for
achieving the annual booking plan in Eastern North Carolina -
including Wilmington, Fayetteville, Greenville, and Rocky Mount.
This person will be calling on industrials and commercial accounts.
BOOKINGS: Ability to sell and close an agreed-upon annual sales
plan after completing their initial sales training
program.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- SALES SKILLS: Able to qualify prospects, make effective sales
presentations, answer questions and objections in an effective and
responsible manner. Aggressively manages proposals to close
sales.
- TIME MANAGEMENT: Ability to plan and efficiently schedule
appointments and manage personal time to assure maximum
productivity.
- ACCOUNT EXPANSION: Able to increase existing Customer
maintenance coverage and/or other services.
- RELATIONS: Build rapport and productive working relationships
with prospects, Customers, vendors, and other outside agents.
Represent the company in a professional, positive, honest, and
ethical manner at all times.KEY COMPETENCIES
- SALES SKILLS: Able to qualify prospects, make effective sales
presentations, answer questions and objections in an effective and
responsible manner. Aggressively manages proposals to close
sales.
- TIME MANAGEMENT: Ability to plan and efficiently schedule
appointments and manage personal time to assure maximum
productivity.
- MARKET DEVELOPMENT: Able to identify prospects in assigned
market. Promptly follow up on leads and referrals. Establish
Customer rapport and identify needs. Maintain an active backlog of
quotes to assure that the booking goal is consistently met.
- SURVEYS AND PRICING: Able to survey electrical systems; able to
interpret drawings, equipment, and job conditions. Properly apply
Company pricing policy and the TEGG Service pricing system and to
combine both into a proposal format.
- CUSTOMER RELATIONS: Promptly address Customer concerns to
assure resolution and maintain long-term positive relationships.
Keep in mind that the Customer's satisfaction is utmost in
importance; and positive communication is key to this goal.
- ELECTRICAL SYSTEM KNOWLEDGE: Have a sufficient understanding of
electrical systems to accurately appraise and inventory system
components, evaluate general conditions, and recommend the best
maintenance program. Be able to recognize Designed Electrical
Services opportunities and pass leads to appropriate
personnel.
- SALES PRESENTATION STRATEGY: Understand the prospect's
organization and decision-making process. Anticipate and answer
objections. Commit the prospect to a decision-making
timetable.QUALIFICATIONS
- College or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service in the
electrical industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle
conflict.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to discuss and close service offerings.
- Excellent level of communications and collaboration both
internally and externally
- An active interest in increasing customer happiness and
deepening customer relationships
- Is very dependable, has a high work ethic.
- Maintains high qualitative and quantitative standards of work
performance.
- Strives constantly to improve skill and work knowledge.
- Maintains a good driving record.
