Analyst, Logistics: Become the Newest Member of Kontoor Brands The primary responsibilities of the Logistics Analyst are to analyze and improve international and domestic logistics performance across all modes. The analyst will be required to manipulate data in various systems to find improvements in cost and/or transit time, run KPIs, maintain freight rates databases, and otherwise support the logistics team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Development of standard reports and metrics to measure key Logistics Network KPIs.
• Perform on-going data quality analysis and manage follow-up resolution with providers to ensure data accuracy.
• Responsible for the scheduled monthly/quarterly development and distribution of Logistics KPI reports and conducting periodic business performance reviews with logistics partners.
• Support on-going documentation of all logistics procedures in regards to reporting, analysis, systems update, and communications and implement improvements in collaboration with process owners.
• Development and ownership of rate databases and analysis.
• Act as the Logistics team's InforNexus (formerly GT Nexus) super user
• Act as key member in RFP process
• Analyze performance metrics to identify efficiency and savings opportunities.

  • Demonstrated ability to use logic and problem-solving skills to independently isolate and identify opportunities in reporting/analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, including an ability to explain complex systems/processes clearly and concisely via reporting tools.
  • Self-starter with a strong interest in analysis and process design, capable of working independently on data analysis and reporting with a high degree of initiative.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including use of pivot tables and advanced functions such as if/then, sumif, and vlookup.
  • Must demonstrate a basic grasp of relational database structures and queries. MS Access experience preferred. Experience with business intelligence/analytics software. i.e. PowerBI
    Experience:
    
    • 2+ years of related experience in data analysis/reporting
    • 1+ years of logistics experienceEducation:
      
      • Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Economics, Analytics, Supply Chain, or other relevant area.
