Desktop Support Analyst 3+ Months Contract to Hire Greensboro, NC - Job Description The Desktop Services Analyst must be experienced with working multi-discipline teams, with a proven track record of delivering solutions and excellent customer service. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Seek ways to leverage emerging technology that will allow the company to increase productivity while reducing hardware and software acquisition costs
  • Analyze, document, plan, and coordinate application and operating system implementations, updates, and upgrades
  • Diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems, determine the source of problems and classify their level, priority and nature
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment
  • Install and support PC, laptop, tablet and mobile hardware and software
  • Create alternative methods of completing tasks, correcting user errors and system inconsistencies to improve the desktop team function
  • Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences, back-out instructions, and risk mitigation
  • Support a program of change to meet business needs
  • Develop positive working relationships with a wide range of internal and external people Skills
    • Proven track record in identifying and resolving problems, risks, and issues
    • Experience with successfully implementing enterprise-class tools is desired
    • Must be self-motivated
    • Competent and proficient understanding of various hardware and software platforms including desktop operating systems
    • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
    • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
    • Flexible during times of change
    • Strong interpersonal skills: persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
    • Ability to influence decision makers without disrupting day to day operations or protocols
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problem solving aptitude is required
    • Must be able to learn, comprehend, and apply emerging technologies and concepts. Education/Experience
      • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field and one (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience Job Category: JN008 #zr #dice
