A Benefits Coordinator job in Greensboro, North Carolina is currently available through Belcan. Part time 8:30-12:30. To be considered for this role you will have knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting employee benefits programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, Section 125, Medicare and Social Security and DOL regulations. In this role as a Human Resource/Benefits Coordinator you will performs diversified clerical and administrative support within Human Resources be responsible for the maintenance and support of the company's benefits data entry and billing. Benefits Coordinator Job Duties and Responsibilities: Benefits: Administer various employee benefit programs including medical, dental, life, accident and disability insurance. Prepare monthly self-billing invoices applicable vendors (life, disability, stop loss, dental, vision) and audit benefit providers monthly invoices - create billing breakdown spreadsheet by division. Complete National Medical Support Notices for all divisions and report COBRA eligibility within benefit system. Assists with ensuring compliance with applicable government regulations and assist employees with benefits issues and answer employee benefit questions. Support and assist division Human Resource departments with benefits enrollment platform, work to make sure plans run smoothly and investigate discrepancies and provides information in non-routine situations. Human Resources: Prepare and maintain employee files, assuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality, help new employees enroll in benefit programs and process and record employee information in HRIS system. Assist corporate employees transferring with obtaining required documentation, such as Social Security Number for work in the United States and complete New Hire Orientation and new hire paperwork with corporate employees. Examine employee file to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized people and update employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information to payroll. Maintain company organizational charts, adequate stock of forms and office supplies and maintain and distribute current employee information, policy and procedure manuals and other communication. Assist with employee programs as requested. Benefits Coordinator Job Requirements, Skills and Preferences: High school diploma with two to four years experience in a human resources environment and must have general knowledge of human resources functions with two to four years of benefit administration experience. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and Lookups and must have knowledge of typical computer business software and routine office equipment. Strong analytical skills, strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize work and accurately perform duties with constant activity in the area with strong attention to detail. Must work with confidential data (wages and other personal information) and assure it is safeguarded to protect the privacy of the company and team members with the ability to consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
