Job Description:

Home Instead - in Greensboro, NC is looking for an awesome team member to join us in our mission to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families. Our team of professionals has been supporting and providing in-home care to aging adults for over 22 years. The Service Coordinator's main responsibility is to manage the client and caregiver schedules. This person must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to handle multiple priorities and stay organized and accurate in covering many details. This person also must have superior communication and customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting. This position is not a remote work position. We appreciate our team collaboration together in an office setting.Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients and/or responsible parties with scheduling matters including troubleshooting problems or concerns and handling to resolution
  • Coordinate and assign appropriate staff to client schedules in a timely manner and follow through on appropriate communications.
  • Document and update client and caregiver records based on interactions
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of clients and caregivers and preferences in order to make proper assignments.Qualifications:
    • Previous experience in staffing/scheduling and/or customer service is preferred
    • Previous experience in home care scheduling (such as Clear Care) is welcomed.
    • Ability to build telephone rapport with clients and staff
    • Ability to work in a team setting along with other coordinators and staff.
    • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and be productive in a fast paced work environment
    • Ability to work additional hours/outside normal business hours at times as the work load can be unpredictable at times
    • Available to work one weekend every other month to support on call .
    • Available to work one or two evenings during the week for on call duty as needed.
