What will your day look like as a BT?

Teach -individuals with autism to talk, play, make friends, and function independently
Work under the supervision of a BCBA to implement child(ren) individualized goals
Collect -data to demonstrate each client's progress
Collaborate -in clinical team meetings to report client progress and get specific feedback from the supervisor
Rest Assured you'll be trained in various ABA methods by our top-notch clinicians.

Intake Duties

Completes all daily client referral and intake functions including the implementation of intake procedures using various computer software programs.
Contact families to obtain all necessary intake documentation, including insurance and medical information.
Ensures all necessary client documentation is completed and attached to the client profile appropriately in the electronic health record.
Maintain a high level of customer service responding to inquiries within 24 hours.
Work collaboratively with the Clinical Director and COO to review intake packets and update on cases in the pipeline.
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral sources.
Ensures compliance with all state, federal, company and funding sources referral/intake regulatory requirements.
Gathers, collates, and reports on referral statistics including key referral trends.
Provide back-up in Authorization Coordinator duties

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High School diploma or equivalent -
Background check clearance upon hire
Previous experience working with children; ASD experience preferred
Reliability- ability to work a consistent schedule throughout the week
Access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation
To complete the physical demands of the job (frequent sitting and standing, sitting on and getting up from the floor, kneeling, bending, and running with children) you must be able to: Stand and move for at least 75% of the day; lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds -
