Camden Health and Rehabilitation is a 135-bed skilled nursing facility that is seeking a Registered Nurse Staff Development Coordinator (SDC) to our team of dedicated health care professionals.
The Staff Development Coordinator (SDC) is responsible for educational compliance for the entire facility and provides services associated with the ongoing professional development of the staff.
Duties:

• 
  
• Conduct new hire orientation outlining company standards and regulatory compliance
  
• Assist in leading the infection prevention program of the facility while working closely with the Administrator and Director of Nursing to ensure compliance is maintained with current standard practices
  
• Schedule mandated in-services on an annual basis.
  Maintain employee education, training, and health files.
  Complete required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
  Assist in overseeing the current nurse aide training program and ensure competency of all trainees
  May participate in a manager on duty, admissions on-call, and floor nurse rotation
  All other duties as assigned

  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina
    
  • Long term care facility experience preferred
    Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
