Job Description:
Job Description Primary Purpose This job involves developing
insights on designated categories of company spend and leading
sourcing events to procure the needed materials or services from
the best vendors- this will result in the lowest Total Cost of
Ownership (TCO). Activities will include research and analysis of
primary spend categories, market data, financial analytics and
financial projections for potential sourcing, events. Will work
cross functionally with other teams at Mountaire including IT,
Plant Operations, and Finance; researching business needs and
developing the right sourcing event or supplier action to affect
the best result. Major Duties & Responsibilities Work cross
functionally researching business needs and developing proper
action to ensure TCO. Contract management, Vendor Selection,
Approval, Management. RFQ, RFP, RFI bids for category spend.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly analysis to business partners
and senior leadership. Communicate with business partners on key
objectives. Improvement projects that advance customer service
levels, improve product flows, minimize supply. Align with other
Mountaire teams, IT, Plant Operations and Finance, collaborate to
gain a working knowledge of business needs. Direct facilitation of
meeting needs. Market research and analysis; lead spend, contract,
and research for designated categories, assess supplier
capabilities and identify new sources of supply. Directs and
enforces all safety policies and standards. Qualifications Relevant
Procurement and Negotiation Experience or Bachelors degree. 3 to 5
years' experience. Analytics and Data Management, SQL, Access,
Excel, Oracle, SAP or other ERP Software. About Us Are you looking
