An opportunity has arisen within the US Quality team for a Quality Engineer role at the Groupu2019s Greensboro, North Carolina facility which is a hub for our R&D activity and Wireless products. The role reports to the Quality Engineering Manager and will be working closely with the team to implement various quality tools, monitor and improve operational processes and products. We're looking for a highly motivated and driven individual who can collaborate with our team members across various departments. The ideal candidate will have great critical thinking skills, and can work independently or collaborate with a team and knows how to create or improve systems that meet our quality assurance goals. Ultimately, the aim to proactively engineer Quality into the end to end site processes and systems, enabling customer satisfaction and product quality. Requirements u2022 To ensure procedural compliance to ISO 9001 is maintained and assist with the implementation of IATF 16949 within the site u2022 Ensure eQMS is compliant with the relevant standards and satisfies internal and customer requirements u2022 Facilitation and implementation of AIAG Core Tools (FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPAC) u2022 Facilitate QMS and ensure it conforms to customer and regularity requirements u2022 Monitoring and analyzing quality performance u2022 Administer the document management system u2022 Administer the Issue management system u2022 Administer change control u2022 Document creation u2022 Conduct internal audits u2022 Participate in certification and customer audits u2022 Support 8Du2019s both external and internal u2022 Involved in finished goods inspection when non-conformances are identified u2022 Facilitates completion of the 8D for the companyu2019s customer complaint process u2022 Quality support for new product introduction u2022 Data Analysis support (internal, customer, supplier) u2022 Provide administration services for eQMS u2022 Provide reporting on eQMS activity and compliance u2022 Coaches employees in the effective use of quality tools Job Expectationsx3A u200B u2022 Knowledge of Quality Improvement, Control, and Assurance u2022 Knowledge of ISO 9001x3A2015, IATF 16949x3A2016, and VDA 6.3 Quality Management Standards u2022 Knowledge of Advanced Quality tools and AIAG Core Tools u2022 Knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools u2022 Working knowledge of 8D methodology u2022 Proficient in Microsoft applications u2022 Knowledge of Data Analysis tools u2022 Knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing u2022 Some travel to be expected EducationQualificationsx3A u2022 Degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or equivalent experienceu2022 Strong communication and interpersonal skillsu2022 Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills with a hands on approachu2022 Experience working as a teamu2022 Experience with projects, Project Management is a plusu2022 Highly motivatedu2022 Excellent facilitation skills Great work environment -- In addition to partnering with some of the best and brightest professionals in our industry, you will enjoy a culture that is results-oriented but also fun and casual.
