Job Description:

SUMMARY:

Directs the development of company marketing programs. Responsible for assessment of existing and potential markets, product life cycle planning, coordination of technical product development, development of product strategies, the definition of promotional activities, and product launch. Activities may include technical sales support; product advertising/promotion; planning, developing, and implementing multiple channel programs; and directing the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops corporate and/or organizational policies and authorizes their implementation. Detailed knowledge of the company allows for innovative concepts and promoting new ideas. Provides direction to senior managers in various areas, groups, and/or operations. Recognized as an influential leader. Identifies and develops relationships with key customers and business partners within specific product management areas that support the tactical business objectives and long-term corporate and business unit strategies.
  • Work with customers to identify and define new products. Provide engineering with specific market needs (cost, schedule, quality) and technical requirements for products under development. Lead team meetings (as appropriate) to ensure the market requirements are clearly understood by the development team.
  • Educate/train Qorvo corporate sales on new products. Develop sales tools and marketing materials (launch packs, fighter guide, etc.) that enable sales to effectively sell products. Directs and controls the activities of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups, or service areas through senior managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas.
  • Provide direction/input to corporate markets communications to support product announcements, advertising, promotions, etc. Manage inventory levels for products managed.

SCOPE

Capturing dynamic RFFE architectural change for the upcoming industry technical requirement in the early stage and makes sales and product strategy align with it

JOB COMPLEXITY

Consistently works with abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business. Through assessment of intangible variables, identifies and evaluates fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for major functional areas. Requires in-depth knowledge of the functional area, business strategies, and the company's goals. Collect market dynamics and data for regional markets and customers, with the purpose of identifying and quantifying regional market and specific customer opportunities as well as foreseeing technical requirements. Understand and help define product roadmaps. Engage early with regional customers in their device concepts and planning with the purpose of successfully influencing them to align with Qorvo product and RF reference design plans

DISCRETION

Erroneous decisions will have a long-term effect on the company's success.

INTERACTION

Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters. Influences policymaking.

SUPERVISION

Directs and controls the activities of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups, or service areas through senior managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSEE or Equivalent engineering degree (prefer MBA degree)
  • Minimum 4 years experience in electrical engineering work. Preferred experience in the telecommunication field
  • Good communication skill
  • Willingness to travel
  • Presentation skill
