Regular or Temporary:Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift:1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: Manage a team of Verification of Parties (VOP) analysts who are responsible for the validation of all parties associated with each mortgage transaction closed. Review and respond timely to all escalations from the VOP Analyst/Coordinator to ensure all closing dates are met. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Review any failed Exclusionary Database Monthly testing results and work with EIS to research discrepancies. Advise VOP analysts to perform manual search of all exclusionary lists until Internal Exclusionary List Database is updated. 2. Effectively communicate with the Fulfillment Centers, as needed, to provide necessary reporting and to obtaining additional information to clear escalations in a timely manner to ensure closing dates are met. 3. Conduct proactive and effective pipeline management in accordance with performance standard expectations and regulatory requirements. 4. Supervise staff to ensure team production goals are achieved with a high level of accuracy. 5. Assist with special projects/tasks and provide support to other departments within the line of business, as requested by your manager. 6. Monitor courses assigned through the Learning Plan to ensure all remain current on all regulatory courses required. 7. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other teammates, internal and external clients/business partners, and vendors. 8. Provide appropriate coaching and mentoring to team members and manage disciplinary issues per Human Resource policies. 9. Recruit, develop and retain high performing team members to ensure ongoing success in meeting department standards. QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Five years of financial industry experience or equivalent 3. Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities 4. Ability to manage and monitor the performance of others and provide quality coaching to improve performance. 5. Ability to utilize a mortgage loan origination system 6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products. 7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: 1. Bachelors degree in a business-related field 2. Management/leadership experience 3. Basic knowledge of Empower 4. Basic knowledge of other Bank services and products Click to enter text.
