Description:Ensure accurate and timely processing of claims in accordance with DHS and CMS Regulations and Claims Department Work Instructions.Provide support services such as prepping, counting, scanning and filing mail and claims, operating in Formworks and assigning work to department work queues, assist with member denial letters, Identify and forward subrogation documents to Optum, navigate in HealthRules Payor and Amisys to locate essential informationRespond timely to claims inquiries and issues. Inquiries may include phone calls, e-mails, and verbal requests including Subrogation and adjustment requestsDeliver documents to internal departments via Macess-EXPAccurate and timely entry of DTR letters into Amisys.Maintain department production and quality standardsSkills:Claim, Data entry, Revenue cycle, Health care, Insurance, Claims processing, Computer skills, Accounts receivableTop Skills Details:AmisysHealthRulesClaims examiningAdditional Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required3+ years w/ recently healthcare insurance claims processing experience40 WPM+7000 KPHStrongly preferred experience in this order: 1) Amisys claims software experience2) HealthRules claims software experience3) 2+ years similar claims softwareExperience in a healthcare organization, working knowledge of Medicaid, Medical Assistance, Minnesota Care, Medicare and Commercial.
