NC42HPDiverse Staffing--is now accepting Countertop Fabricator applicants for immediate hire for a Temp-to-Hire position. In this job, you will work for our client at a facility in--Greensboro, NC. This position pays up to $18.00/hr. and is a 1st shift position working from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.Our client is a North Carolina-based, family-owned business with 45+ employees that specializes in measuring, fabricating and installing custom-made countertop surfaces for both residential and commercial projects. They work with homeowners, designers, contractors and dealers to help design and fabricate the perfect stone, solid surface, or cultured marble countertops for your style and budget. They also employ a full-time commercial estimation department with the ability to turn quotes and provide valuable engineering for most commercial projects, including unique tops for the furniture industry. A Countertop--Fabricator associate for our team on this assignment will cut, round, smooth and shape all custom surfaces for table top fabrication. The following is an example of some of the tasks you may be asked to perform daily working in this position: * Move slabs of stone from truck to A racking to fabrication table* Use overhead hoist for stone movement* Use both power & hand tools to fabricate and shape the stone to customer specifications* Read schematics for correct pattern designs and layouts * Follow strict instructions and listen well * Multi-task and communicate & work well with co-workers * Critically think * ACCURACY is a MUSTAt Diverse Staffing, our focus is on helping people achieve their career goals through the right career opportunities.
