Nesco Resource is currently recruiting for 1st Shift Oven Operator for a client in Hickory, NC. Job Description: The Oven Operator is responsible for overseeing the operation of ovens in a production environment to ensure products are the correct specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adhere to safety protocols, and collaboration with other team members to maintain product quality and production efficiency. Responsibilities: Set up and operate ovens based on product specifications Monitor oven temperature, humidity, and timing settings to ensure consistency Adjust oven controls to maintain temperature Load and unload materials into and out of ovens safely Inspect material to ensure they meet quality standards Monitor material flow through the oven to avoid uneven processing Physically able to lift, move and push 50-100lbs through out entire shift Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience operating ovens is preferred Basic understanding of industrial oven operations Ability to work independently and as part of a team Shift: 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday Pay: Starts at $17.00/hour Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
