Competitive Compensation Bonus Opportunities Retirement Match Inclusive Benefits Job Details We are currently seeking a highly experienced Family Law Attorney to join our esteemed legal firm as a Senior Associate or Partner. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience dedicated to complex family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and child support. First-chair litigation experience is required. Responsibilities: Managing a broad range of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and child support. Providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they are fully informed of their legal rights and obligations. Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and arguing cases in a clear and persuasive manner. Preparing legal documents, including petitions, motions, and agreements, ensuring they are accurate and legally sound. Collaborating with other members of the legal team to develop effective strategies and solutions for clients. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of family law and related legal developments, ensuring our firm continues to provide the highest level of service to our clients. Contributing to the growth and success of the firm, including participating in business development and marketing initiatives. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 6 years of experience in family law, with a proven track record of successfully managing cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, and more. Admission to the North Carolina state bar. Exceptional legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and effectively communicate complex legal concepts in an understandable manner. Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills, with the ability to represent clients' interests effectively in court. High ethical standards and professional integrity, with a commitment to upholding the principles of the legal profession.
