are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is great with
people. Our Paralegal must have exceptional communication skills,
be able to listen, and be understanding and empathize with clients.
Responsibilities: Draft Pleadings, including Complaints, Motions,
Discovery Requests, Subpoenas, Orders, and Affidavits, under the
guidance of a lawyer Communicate with Clients and other parties to
provide updates and gather information Maintain Client files
Schedule case events, such as hearings, mediations and depositions
File Pleadings with Court Track and monitor Court filings
Communicate with Family Court, as needed Interview witnesses Review
financial documents and prepare Financial Affidavits and
spreadsheets Trial preparation Involvement with all aspects of a
Family Law case Qualifications: Must possess organizational skills
and time-management skills Strong research and writing skills
Attention to detail is critical Someone who is compassionate and
understanding A Bachelor’s Degree is required Must be a Certified
Paralegal by the North Carolina State Bar Prefer previous Family
