We are an AV -Rated, established Workers' Compensation/ Injury law firm in downtown Greensboro (100 S. Elm St.). We are looking for a paralegal/legal assistant to join our staff, and we are offering an excellent salary and benefits, depending on experience. We have a large number of Hispanic clients, and Spanish language skills are preferable.Salary: -Salaries start at $35,000+ a year, depending on experience, with benefits and an end of year bonus. Higher salaries are available based on education, prior legal experience, language skills, and ability.Position: -You will be working under two attorneys that primarily practice Workers' Compensation law. The job involves interacting with clients both in person and over the phone, typing, dictation, legal document and letter preparation, managing routine claims issues, and filing. Experience in Workers' Compensation or the legal field is desirable, but additional paralegal training will be provided. -Hours: -9:00-5:30 with 1 hour for lunch.Requirements: - - - - -Proficiency with Microsoft Word; - - - - -Ability to deal well with clients; - - - - -Typing ability 50+ words per minute preferable; - - - - -College experience or law office training preferable; - - - - -Spanish fluency in speaking and writing is preferable.Benefits:Health insurance; -3 weeks of -annual vacation or sick leave;Paid holidays based on court holidays;Free parking. -
