This position is contingent upon contract award. Candidates must have an active Secret clearance and verify, before applying, that you meet the minimum requirements of the position. JANUS Research Group is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support the IT Services and Support (ITSS) requirements for the U.S. Army Product Lead Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (PL ALTESS) requirement, in support of the Program Executive Office Enterprise (PEO Enterprise) in Radford, VA. The Cloud Engineer will support the ALTESS commercial cloud services infrastructure. ALTESS is a managed service provider for Army and DoD IT systems and plans to offer managed cloud services in public clouds, MS Azure, AWS and Private Clouds. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in Computer Science or IT. CompTIA Security. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Mid to senior level Cloud Engineer experience. Security (Or equivalent IA cert) and computing environment certification (i.e. MCSD Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience effectively managing multiple largescale projects. Experience automating routine administrative tasks desired. Strong experience with IPSEC/VPN, and other secure transport technologies as well as Border Gateway Protocol. Proven experience migrating onpremises applications to the cloud. Understanding of network, storage, server, and application technologies. Strong knowledge of automation concepts, tools, and scripting languages (Ansible, Terraform, Python, Powershell, Bash, Puppet, Chef, etc.). Working knowledge of code repositories tools such as Git. Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM). Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline experience such as Jenkins, Travis CI, AWS CodeDeploy.
