We are looking for a full-stack software engineer who actively engages with the team, while working remotely full-time. You will apply your engineering knowledge to build a unique digital experience for our newly created Financial Wellness portfolio. Financial Wellness, and helping customers achieve financial security, is a top priority for LFG with the goal of building out an industry leading program. Youll have the opportunity to work in an exciting and fast paced environment, with a new agile team that will primarily work with applications on AWS. Youll also have broad exposure to the multiple businesses across LFG and new products from LFG and strategic third-party partnerships, and youll play an important role in our Cloud Transformation that is taking LFG to new heights. If this sounds like you, please read on!What you'll be doing:You will be involved in the full lifecycle of application development from designing, coding, testing, deploying, and monitoringWorking in AWS, and using DevOps tools with expertise, such as Gitlab, SonarQube, and Fortify to drive operations and collaborationConstructing and implementing software within a full stack environment (Front end, API, persistence, integrations, test automation)Leveraging front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular 2+) and backend (e.g. Restful)Champion lean-Agile and DevOps principles and practices (e.g. CI/CD) while supporting a culture of innovation and continuous learningWhat we're looking for:Must-Haves:3-5+ years of experience developing applications in frontend Angular (primary), and Python backendProven record of understanding and applying engineering best practicesExperience with HTML5, CSS3, Sass in designing mobile responsive web pagesExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)Experience with unit test frameworksExperience with microservice design (Service-Oriented Architecture) and RESTful web servicesFamiliarity with Continuous Integration/Delivery and DevOpsExperience working within an Agile TeamExcellent communication, with demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer EngineeringNice-to-haves:Familiarity with backend Kotlin, Java and Spring BootFamiliarity with automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, JMeter, etc.Whats it like to work here?At Lincoln Financial Group, we love what we do.
