Job Description:

A client of Insight Global is looking for 5 ERP Developers to join their team in North Carolina. Each ERP Developer will be focused on one of the following functional areas within Ellucian Banner; HR, Student, or Finance. These openings can be 100% remote, with preference on candidates local to North Carolina. The ERP Developer will be an accomplished software developer and analyst, who has deep expertise in their functional area of Banner. This position will be the Banner expert and understands how the product is supposed to work, whats coming on the horizon, and where opportunities for improvement exist. This position will be a senior member of project teams for Banner implementations and upgrades, as well as for building, enhancing, and maintaining custom-built applications.Key Responsibilities: Provides Banner (ERP) support to functional area. This requires considerable specific ERP module knowledge as well as specific functional department operations knowledge. Understands area business processes and how they are achieved using the ERP system. Addresses any urgent issues impacting time-sensitive functional business processes. Performs ERP operational management and maintenance in coordination with the area. Performs analysis, design, integration, and support work for Banner ERP and associated systems. Conducts guided interviews and meetings with users to evaluate needs and define system requirements, issues, and constraints. Develops detailed solution documentation including minor process descriptions and program specifications. Develops time estimates, solution implementation schedules, and infrastructure resources requirements based on size and nature of work effort. Coordinates implementations in accordance with the University processing calendar and with areas activities as needed.Understanding of DevOps workflow Understanding of GIT source control Any cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP) Experience with JavaScript/React5+ years of experience in systems programming Experience with Ellucian Banner Application development Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Java Experience with Higher Education or state agencies Experience with Banner Workflow, Banner Document Management, Banner Admin Pages, Atomic (Appworx), Employment & Compensation, Benefits/Leave, Payroll, Position Control, EPAFs, Faculty and Tenure, Web Time Entry, Banner HR Self Service etc.
