Our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist for their manufacturing facility near Vidalia, GA.Responsibilities:Participates in developing and implementing department policies, goals, objectives, and systems.Under the direction of the HR Manager will evaluate HR policies and methodsAssists in the development of HR solutions by collecting and analyzing informationRecommends best practices/courses of actionAdministers various Human Resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.Assists in supervising HR functions such as staffing, communications, payroll, benefits, training, reporting, unemployment, I-9, etc.Facilitates communication between employees and their supervisors/managers.Maintains compliance with Federal and State regulations concerning employment. Qualifications:High school diploma; Bachelor s degree in related field preferred.3+ years
experience in a similar HR role within a manufacturing environmentConsiderable knowledge of HR law, principles, practices, and administration.Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships.Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization.Planning: organizational and prioritization skillsDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure qualityStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsActively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures; uses equipment and materials properly.Ability to take initiative, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines.
