and customers. ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and
results-oriented Human Resources Generalist who can be a strong
contributor to our heavily expanding company. The purpose of this
role is to support the HR Manager in all areas of the Human
Resources field. Your main responsibilities will be: Track and
manage FMLA and eFMLA (understand laws, documentation, and manage
the cerification and recertification process) Own the onboarding
and offboarding process (orientation, meeting with Supervisors and
Managers, performance reviews, exit interviews etc.) Support and
organize training and development Manage the apprentices & their
rotations Consults with management providing HR guidance (coaching,
counseling, career development, performance plans, etc.) Supports
investigations or conflict resolution issues, ethics complaints,
and other employee relations issues Support Health & Safety Track
and audit time & attendance Administer and support open enrollment
(support the preparation of materials, communication, and
presenting information) Administer all leave related topics (such
as FMLA, leave of absence, and Worker---s Compensation) Support
with payroll processing Organize and run employee engagement
activities Organize and maintain personnel records and update
internal databases Participate in HR projects and other projects as
assigned (i.e. support with staffing needs) Partners with
recruiting acting as back-up and working to identify and retain
high quality talent. Maintain a high level of confidentiality All
other duties assigned Job Requirements: Proven work experience as
an HR Administrator, HR Specialist or relevant role (3 years
minimum) Thorough HR knowledge, especially in benefit and US law
related questions Computer literacy (MS Office and HRIS system)
Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize
important projects Strong phone, email and in-person communication
skills Critical Evaluation of situations and documents Dependable,
discrete, loyal Ability to work with others and drive results
