Summary:
American West Worldwide Express, a leader in the freight forwarding industry is looking for a full-time salaried Driver Recruiter. The Driver Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting qualified Owner Operators, and company drivers, as needed. Driver Recruiter will work together with Operations, to ensure proper qualification and processing. Ensure all drivers, are properly trained, and have a clear understanding, of the job description, and what is expected of them. Responsible for driver safety orientation, verifying all training, has been completed, documented, and filed. Responsible for the completed qualification process, and procedures of employment history, criminal background & driving records including processing all paperwork completely, and verifying drivers meet all safety standards, set by the company. Work with Safety Manager and operations to ensure all standards are met. Responsible for covering Qchecks evenings, weekends as needed. Must read and write English. Spanish speaking a plus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Recruit and retain Owner Operator and Company Drivers; line OTR/Local/Regional
  
• Manage Orientation & Safety Training; support and enforce.
  
• Manage Tablet Equipment & I-Trek Training; support and enforce.
  
• Follow up on new drivers progress to ensure proper integration into the company
  
• Assist in the development and implementation of Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  
• Actively seek out and participate in internal and external training programs that help improve personal performance and well-being.
  
• All other duties as required.
  
  
  Salary $60,000 Bonus
