Locums - Clemmons, North Carolina, NP/PA Urology Opening

Coverage Dates

• ASAP - Ongoing Need

Schedule

• 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• In-house call coverage and inpatient rounding

Practice Setting

• Acute care facilities
• Trauma Level II facility
• Call coverage and inpatient rounding
• Facility will accept multiple providers

Coverage Responsibilities

• Inpatient post-operative rounding
• Inpatient consultations throughout the hospital
• Emergency Department consultations
• Call coverage at the main facility
• Additional lower-volume call coverage for affiliated community hospitals
• Urologic consultations in collaboration with locum or staff Urologists
• Must be able to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Call Details

• Call for assigned and unassigned patients
• In-house call
• 30-minute response time required
• Phone consults: 10-15 per shift
• Call patients seen: 5-10 per shift
• Admissions: 1-2 per shift

• 99-bed facility
• Admissions required

Patient Population

• Inpatient urology patients
• Post-operative urology patients
• Emergency Department urology consults

EMR

• Epic

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active North Carolina license required
• Minimum of 3 years of Urology experience required
• BLS required
• Ability to work independently in an acute care environment
