correctional facility provides comprehensive healthcare services to
the adult population in a secure environment with dedicated medical
support staff. The facility operates with established protocols
during regular business hours and maintains appropriate equipment
and systems to deliver quality primary care services to patients
requiring both routine and complex medical interventions. About the
Facility Location Virginia offers diverse regional attractions
including outdoor recreation opportunities, cultural venues, and
year-round activities. The area features diverse indoor
entertainment options including flight simulation experiences and
family attractions, with cultural sites encompassing locations and
guided tours available for exploration. About the Clinician's
Workday The clinician will provide comprehensive primary care
services to adult patients in a correctional facility setting,
conducting patient evaluations and managing chronic conditions
during regular business hours. The clinician will see approximately
18-20 patients daily from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
with no call requirements, utilizing the Naphcare EMR system for
documentation. The position requires Virginia licensure and DEA
registration for autonomous practice, working collaboratively with
nursing staff to ensure continuity of care within the correctional
healthcare environment. Additional Job Details Case Load/PPD: 18-20
