Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Lynchburg, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,108 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Lynchburg, Virginia, 24501! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: Active VA/Compact License required upon start. Certifications: ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (Expires), BLS Must-Have: Charge responsibility required; travel experience required. Description: Replacing a current staff member. The role involves caring for a mix of medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac intermediate care unit, neuro patients, and stroke patients. Assignments will end on Saturday. Weekends will be scheduled for 2 out of 3 weekends a month, but this is based on unit needs. Team members are expected to contribute to a culture of support, especially when working with students and new hires. Candidates must be prepared to accept limited requests for time off. Cerner is the preferred electronic health record system. Float requirements are not applicable for this position. This position involves charge responsibilities, and the RN will receive appropriate training and pay differential. All requested time off must be submitted with the application materials.
