A full-time Physical Therapist role is available within the Durham, NC school district, serving a varied caseload of approximately 30-40 students across multiple schools. This contract position is based primarily in Central and North-Central Durham, supporting elementary through high school students in the Research Triangle area. Key Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy services to students across 5-9 schools, with some schools requiring 1-2 visits per month. Manage a caseload that includes students of varying ages, adapting interventions based on school district needs. Collaborate with educators and school staff to support student physical development and accessibility. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and regulatory standards. Schedule visits aligning with school timetables: Elementary (7:45 AM2:15 PM), Middle (8:30 AM3:15 PM), and High School (9:15 AM4:15 PM). Qualifications and Experience: Active Physical Therapy license required. Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist within a school setting is mandatory. Ability to manage a diverse caseload with flexibility. Strong communication and collaboration skills tailored to educational environments. Availability for pre-placement interviews during flexible hours between 9-11 AM and 2-3 PM EST. Location: Durham, North Carolina (Central and North-Central areas), serving the Research Triangle region.
