Job Description Opportunity Overview WVU Medicine, West Virginia University Health System Medical Group is actively recruiting a General Surgeon to join our dynamic medical team at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. Job Details Practice schedule is M-Th 8am-4pm, Fri 8am-2pm Current providers are on call 6-7 days per month 5 physicians and 3 APPs in the practice currently Average daily patient volume is 16-20 Both inpatient and outpatient Qualifications MD or DO degree Will need to obtain a WV state medical license and DEA registration upon hire BE/BC in General Surgery Completed an ACGME-accredited residency Financials and Benefits Generous compensation package to include base comp and potential productivity bonus Sign-on bonus CME allowance Comprehensive benefits package, including retirement Stipends available during training for early commitment
