Registered Nurse (RN) | Long-Term Acute Care Location: Lynchburg, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,042 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/7/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long Term Acute Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in relevant specialty License: Active VA / Compact License required Certifications: BLS Required, ACLS Preferred Must-Have: - Experience in ventilator management and weaning - Experience in wound care and infectious disease - Ability to manage IV medications Description: This position is for a Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse. The focus is on providing care for patients with ventilators, chest tubes, drains, and IV medications. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 or 1:5. Assignments may include drips and require working 2 to 3 weekends per month based on unit need. Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted. Cancellations can occur up to 36 hours prior to an assignment due to patient census. Team members are expected to contribute to a supportive culture, especially when interacting with students and new hires. Floating to different units is not required.
