Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North
Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED -
Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights -
Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work
three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 2 weekend
shifts or 4 weekend days required per 6 weeks • Holiday coverage as
needed • No call responsibilities • Minimum 2 years emergency
department experience required • First time travelers accepted •
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH • Preferred certifications:
CPI, PALS, TNCC • EPIC experience required • Previous Charge RN and
Level 2 Trauma experience preferred • Patient ratio experience of
4-5 patients • Must pass EKG exam during compliance with 2 attempts
allowed • 24-hour orientation required • Zero-tolerance policy for
tardiness and unexcused absences • Must complete full compliance
file by 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to start date • Subject to
float to any campus if needed • Work with adult patients in
emergency department with pediatrics separated • Handle
approximately 180 visits per day across 63 rooms/beds • Care for
patients with various emergency conditions including stroke,
cardiac, and trauma cases Facility: This healthcare facility
operates a comprehensive emergency department that serves as a
Level 2 Trauma, Stroke, and Cardiac certified center. The emergency
department features 63 rooms and beds, handling approximately 180
patient visits daily. The facility provides 24/7 respiratory
therapy support and maintains interdisciplinary services including
IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services,
phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, transportation,
and unit secretaries to support emergency care operations.
