Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Friday through Sunday schedule with holiday rotation • Patient ratio of up to 6 patients • Float required to 2A overflow unit for Med Surg Tele assignments • Subject to float between all Cone Health facilities • Minimum 2 years experience required • First time travelers accepted • BLS certification required • ACLS and NIH certifications preferred • Med Surg Tele and Telemetry experience required • Epic charting system experience required • Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed) • Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences • 36 hours of orientation required • Care for acutely ill medical-surgical and orthopedic patients • Administer IV medication drips including Heparin and TNA • Manage patients with various diagnoses including respiratory illness, post-operative patients, orthopedic cases, CHF, diabetes, and renal failure Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 41-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit with a daily census of 34 patients. The facility provides comprehensive care for adults and geriatric patients with various medical conditions and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services.
