Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PCU Job Details: • Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Rotating weekend schedule required • Float required as needed across all facilities • Minimum 2 years of experience required (first time travelers accepted) • Patient ratio of 5:1 for all shifts • 24 hours of orientation provided • Two pre-approved time off requests allowed • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH • Neuro PCU experience required • Previous Charge RN experience preferred • Epic charting system experience required • Must pass EKG exam (Pass/Fail) with 2 attempts allowed • Skills include: CVA care, External CPAP/BiPAP, TR band, Yale Swallowing screen • Care for patients with stroke, seizure disorders, traumatic brain injury, movement disorders • Manage central lines, PICC lines, telemetry monitoring, and cardiac drips (no titration) • Staff scheduling done via 6-week periods through self-assisted Optilink system • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences • Complete compliance requirements by 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to start date Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical system with multiple campuses providing specialized neurological care.
