community deserves. How you'll contribute The Speech?Language
Pathologist (SLP) in the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) evaluates
and treats patients with speech, language, cognitive?communication,
voice, and swallowing disorders to support functional recovery and
improve overall communication and swallowing safety. This role
performs and documents comprehensive assessments, develops
individualized plans of care, and implements evidence?based
therapeutic interventions in collaboration with patients and
families. The SLP provides ongoing education and counseling,
participates in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge
recommendations, and monitors progress to adjust treatment
strategies as needed. Additional responsibilities include
supervising clinical fellows, students, and support personnel in
accordance with professional and regulatory standards. Why join us

Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
Inpatient Rehabilitation, Acute Care setting experience preferred
Current state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license ASHA
certification (for SLP) Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification
