Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details: • Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Every other weekend schedule required with holidays as needed • Patient ratio of 6 patients for all shifts (days, nights, and weekends) • Float required if needed across all Cone Health facilities • Minimum 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted • Must pass EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed) • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • EPIC charting system experience required • Previous charge nurse experience preferred • 24 hours of orientation provided • Care for adult and geriatric patients including observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical/surgical diagnoses, palliative/end of life/hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetes management, and surgical patients • Must be comfortable with telemetry monitoring, accessing/managing ports, central line blood draws, phlebotomy, PICC line management, CVA care, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, and various other medical/surgical skills • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences • Compliance deadline is 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date • Must complete non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours during orientation Facility: This major healthcare system operates multiple campuses providing comprehensive medical services to the community.
