Job Description Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1 years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A specialty retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist to support sterile and non-sterile compounding operations. This role offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break, for a 13-week contract with the possibility of direct hire. Responsibilities include overseeing prescription processing using PK (a system similar to QS1) with full training provided. The pharmacist will ensure accuracy and compliance in sterile and non-sterile compounding, contributing to excellent patient care in a specialty retail environment. Key qualifications and experience for this position include: - 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience - Pharmacy licensure in North Carolina - Experience in sterile compounding is highly desirable - Experience in non-sterile compounding is a plus - Ability to perform prescription order entry accurately using PK system (training available) Location: Winston-Salem, NC This is a Contract to Hire opportunity, ideal for pharmacists with compounding skills seeking a dynamic retail environment with a focus on patient-centered care.
