Job Description Job Description As a Health and Safety Medical
Technician (HSMT) Traveler you will be trained as a construction
site medical representative that works independently with limited
on-site supervision. You will work closely on site with the
Client’s construction Health and Safety management team and with
the regional Amphibious Medics management team to provide a safe
work environment for construction site workers. This includes, but
is not limited to, working in a first aid capacity for injured
workers, analyzing tasks for potential safety hazards,
implementing, and participating in a site Health & Wellness
program, and participating in the workers compensation process.
Essential Job Duties Provide triage, first aid and/or a referral to
an outside medical provider, if indicated. Ability to remain calm,
react quickly, make sound decisions, and respond appropriately in
emergency situations to determine a proper course of action and
appropriate care. Maintain medical records and medical records
database for site. Maintain on-site inventory supplies, restock,
and clean equipment used in the treatment of employees. Communicate
with outside medical providers on worker’s injury/healing
progression and providing direct follow-up care with worker.
Provide daily activity logs to the safety team and management team.
Frequent “site walks” to interact with both workers and managers.
Help coordinate an annual, semi-annual, or quarterly on-site health
fair. Participate in frequent medical and safety awareness meetings
with construction workers. Outstanding Communication with
Management staff. Perform daily Health and Wellness exams to work
force. Participation in continuous training and development
opportunities to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. All other
tasks as assigned by management. Participation in continuous

you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by
your changing role within the organization and the overall business
objectives of the organization. Traveler Specific Traveler must
maintain residence no more than 1.5 hour away from a major
international airport. Travel to and from home airport is the
traveler's responsibility - airport parking and/or Ubers to airport
will not be reimbursed. At the start of employment, traveler will
be reimbursed for daily per diem at a flat rate of $40 per day
until their credit card has been procured which may take up to 90
days. Once traveler receives their Company credit card, all per
diem should be run through the credit card. Per diem is to be used
for food/meals and is not to exceed $40 per day. If the full $40 is
not used for the day, the unused amount is forfeited. Full time
travelers are expected to be available for 30-day trips with a
1-week rotation home. Declination of 2 consecutive travel trips
without prior approved time off request may result in removal from
the role and/or Company if other work in the immediate area is not
available. Minimum Requirements Part-time employees must work at
least 2 shifts per month to stay active on the schedule. A valid
driver license. An active EMT or above medical certification (some
job sites may have special requirements above the EMT
certifications such as a Registered Nurse certification or ATC
certification, this will be communicated to you) Ability to carry a
35-pound backpack and ability to spend upwards of half of their
shift walking including uneven ground and use of stairs dependent
on site. Pre-Employment Drug Screening Lab Test Certifications to
Complete certifications/licenses must remain up to date and active.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30, depending on whether you are full-time or
part-time. Injury Recordability Avoidance and Mitigation Program
known as IRAMP certificate. Drug Testing Technician Certificate
(DTT) Harassment Prevention Certification, dependent upon worksite
