Responsibilities Optometric Technician Job Responsibilities Welcomes patients professionally and courteously, assisting in their preparation for eye examinations. Assists optometrist with tests and procedures, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment. Attends to patient needs and inquiries with patience and courtesy. Manages patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conducts appointment scheduling and maintains the point of sale system accurately. Ensures a safe and organized working environment. Provides guidance to patients on contact lens care. Maintains equipment and inventory as needed. Required Skills Optometric Technician Job Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent.
