the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified Home Health RN in Durham, North Carolina, 27703! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 -
17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of Adult Home Health or Hospice
experience License: Must have a valid nursing license in hand
Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Proficiency in HomeCare
HomeBase and OASIS Description: Provides coordinates and directs
the provision of home nursing care according to physicians' orders.
Ensures adherence to agency policies and procedures through the
competent application of the nursing process. Responsible to the
Clinical Manager. Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health
Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses.
Travel to patient's homes is required and must have reliable
transportation. Must have a current driver's license and
agency-required liability insurance. Average number of patients per
day is 5-8. Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per
day. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and
Follow-up Visits. Will visit both patient homes and care
facilities. Possible hire at the end of the contract. Coverage area
includes a mileage radius up to 75 miles from the home clinic.
Traveler is compensated from patient home to patient home.
Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment
with the patient. All travelers must be proficient in HomeCare
HomeBase EMR and must have used it within the last 6 months. All
documentation impacting billing and follow-up patient care should
be timely. No guarantee of hours with this contract. Clinician must
meet weekly productivity expectations. All overtime must be
pre-approved. Must be open to on-call rotations as needed. 5
