Job Description Job Description Piedmont Community Services (PCS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary team. This unique role combines clinic-based psychiatric services with community-based outreach, including Mobile OBAT (Office-Based Addiction Treatment) services, ensuring accessible care for underserved populations. The PMHNP will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative care planning for adults with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. Services will be delivered in the outpatient clinic and through the PCS mobile unit. Requirements include Board Certification and current licensure as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in the Commonwealth of Virginia with prescriptive authority and minimum of one year of clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health setting. Preferred candidate will have DEA registration with schedule III authority. Must be able to provide your own transportation to meetings and other sites as needed. Salary is commensurate with education and experience as it relates to the position. Must be willing to consent to background checks, including checks for barrier crimes, and drug screening as part of the application process.
