schedule based on departmental need and based on patient work
intensity, skill mix and previous assignments.*Minimum 2 yrs exp
required. FIRST TIME TRAVELERS - OKPrevious Charge RN exp
preferred.*BLS, ACLS required. NIH preferred.*Ratios 1:4 with
drips/bipap, otherwise mostly 1:5*EPIC*Use of Rapid Response Teams
preferred*Nurse Assistants 24/7. RN secretary 7a-11p.REQUIRED

unit monitoring, Pre/POst Cardiac Cath,Peripheral Line Care and
Management, PICC line management, Manage Cardiac drips- no
titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, Procedural
Sedation Administration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive
drips, Chest tubes-Emerson, Pleur-evac, External CPAP BIPAP,
Tracheostomy ManagementFocus on the cardiac patient (Congestive
Heart Failure, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Arrythmias, pre and post
cardiac catheterization with and without intervention, rule out
myocardial infarction, arrythmias, syncope, pacemaker placement).
Secondary focus on respiratory problems (ex. COPD, pneumonia,
Bipap)2A is a 30-private bed Cardiac Medical Progressive Care
department that provides care 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Rooms
are remotely monitored by the Centralized Cardiac Monitoring
