ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/03/2026 - Duration: 16 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PCU Job Details: • Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Weekend rotation required • Holiday rotation required • No call responsibilities • Minimum 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted • Patient ratio of 1:5 on PCU • Must have Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH • Cardiac telemetry experience required • Must have experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias • Experience required with peripheral line care/management and PICC line management • Must be able to titrate drips • Epic charting system experience required • Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed) • Subject to floating between all Cone Health campuses as needed • Provide care for adult patients with stroke backup, renal disorders, sepsis, endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, and hematological disorders • 36-hour orientation provided • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences • Must maintain strict compliance timeline with full file due by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date Facility: This healthcare organization operates a 34-bed General Medical Progressive Care Unit providing comprehensive cardiac surveillance and telemetry monitoring services. The facility features a Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department that provides continuous surveillance for patients. The unit offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and various other specialized services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
