Local Contract Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $58-62 per hour at HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional summary: This position is for a local contract Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Department, working 36 hours per week on 12-hour day and evening shifts. The role requires 2-3 years of ER experience and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with familiarity in Meditech EMR systems. The job is a 13-week contract in Salem, Virginia, offering opportunities for local or travel engagements in emergency nursing. HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a local contract nursing job in Salem, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department • Discipline: RN • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings • Employment Type: Local Contract • Number of Beds - 27 • Number of Staff – 50 RN/25 Medics • Type of staff: - Day Shift – 1 charge, 5 RN, 2-3 medics; increase by 4-5 RN at 11am; increase by 1-2 RN at 3pm - Night Shift - 1 charge, 5 RN, 2-3 medics • Patient Ratios – 4-6:1 • REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS, PALS; TNCC Preferred:, ENPC, NRP, NIH • EMR - Meditech • Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role: Must have completed 2-3 travel assignmentsMust have 2-3 years ER experience We provide opportunities for Local or Travel contracts, and Per Diem positions across various cities and states.
