Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/24/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring cardiac telemetry experience, ACLS/BLS, and at least 2 years of acute care RN experience. Responsibilities - Hospital telemetry unit with a focus on cardiac patients - Patient diagnoses include heart failure, respiratory failure, NSTEMI, COPD, and pneumonia - Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00pm-7:00am) with every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed - Floating required as needed - Uses EPIC EMR, prior experience mandatory - Main responsibilities include caring for patients with complex cardiac and respiratory conditions - First time travelers are accepted for this position - Candidates must prepare in advance for the EKG exam, as study materials will not be provided - Strict adherence to attendance policies is expected Requirements - Active NC or compact RN license - Minimum 2 years of RN experience in acute care required - Current ACLS and BLS certifications required - Cardiac telemetry experience required - Mandatory EPIC EMR experience - Must pass a required EKG exam (two attempts allowed) during compliance - Must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-667842.
